The Unmapped Project lives somewhere between a motorcycle and a Moleskine notebook. For most of my career I’ve covered entrepreneurs. As Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur, I spent years interviewing founders, investors, and builders. Dreamers. Creators. Nerds?

Eventually a pattern emerged. Entrepreneurship and adventure run on the same instinct. You point yourself toward something uncertain and start moving. Sometimes there's a map. Most of the time there's not

Some of these stories come from the road. Motorcycle miles through the twisties of Bosnia, a Moleskine in the tank bag. Others come from conversations with founders, creators, and outsiders building things the hard way. Strip away the pitch decks and the press releases and entrepreneurship starts to look a lot like exploration.

You leave the map. And then you ride. See where you end up.
